Their biggest benefit is the ability to detach the legs above the knees, so you can turn the pants into shorts. This feature is very practical on the go. The knee and buttocks area is reinforced with a more abrasion-resistant ripstop. The trousers have three zippered pockets, a classic fastening with belt loops.
